BHF GIFT OF HOPE HEART FUNDS SERVICE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

Introduction  This site is owned and operated by the British Heart Foundation (BHF).  Use of the BHF website (Site) or any of its services implies acceptance of these terms of Service.  

General

You agree to use the BHF Site and in particular the Gift of Hope Heart Funds Service (the Service)  only to post messages and material that are proper and solely for the purpose of fundraising for BHF.  By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree that when using the BHF Site you will not: 
1.	Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.

2.	Upload files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of anothers computer or property of another.

3.	Use of the BHF Site/Service in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the BHF Site/Service (or the network(s) connected to any BHF Ltd Site/Service)) or interfere with any other partys use and enjoyment of BHF Site/Services(s).

4.	Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any BHF Site/Service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to any BHF Site/Service, through hacking, password mining or any other means.  You may not obtain to attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the BHF Site/Service.

5.	Advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose.

6.	Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

7.	Misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any other person or organisation.

8.	Send junk e-mail or spam to people who do not wish to receive mail from you.

9.	Delete or falsify any attributions, trademarks or designations of source from any site content.

10.	Conduct, display or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters.

11.	Collect or store personal data about other users including e-mail addresses.
   Your Password  When you register a BHF Gift of Hope Heart Fund you may be required to choose a password for use whenever you visit the site.  Your password is for your use only and should not be disclosed to anyone else.  Trademarks  The names British Heart Foundation and the BHF logo are registered trade marks of the BHF and may not be used without prior written permission of BHF.  Enquiries and permission requests may be sent to internet@bhf.org.uk.  Copyright  All content on the BHF site is either BHF or third party copyright material.  You may copy content for your own personal, non-commercial use provided you do not alter it or remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice.  No other use of the Sites content is permitted without the prior written permission.  Enquiries and permission requests may be sent to internet@bhf.org.uk.  Changes to the Service or to these Terms and Conditions

BHF will endeavour to ensure that the Site and Gift of Hope Heart Fund Service are available continuously, but reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or any part at any time with or without notice.  BHF reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions of Service at any time.  Any change shall be effective immediately it appears on the Site.  Each time you use the Service you are deemed to have accepted any such change. 

Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions

In the event that you commit a breach of these Terms and Conditions BHF reserves the right at its sole discretion to immediately and without notice suspend or permanently deny your access to all or part of the Site and Service.

Termination

You may discontinue use of the Site and Gift of Hope Service at any time.  These terms and conditions will continue to apply to past use by you.

Rights of BHF and Limitation of Liability

BHF has no obligation to monitor the content of individual Gift of Hope pages.  However, BHF reserves the right to review materials posted to the BHF Gift of Hope Heart Fund Service and to edit or remove any materials in its sole discretion.    BHF reserves the right to terminate your access to any or all of the BHF Gift of Hope Heart Fund Service at any time, without notice, for any reason whatsoever.    BHF, reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as BHF deems necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in BHFs sole discretion. 
In no circumstances will BHF be liable for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect  or consequential arising of our (i) your use of the BHF Site and Services or your inability to do so (ii) your reliance on any content and/or (iii) goods and services in any way associated with the Site and Services.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
