The Jon Wilson Gift of Hope Heart Fund

Welcome to the Gift of Hope Heart Fund which has been set up in memory of Jon Wilson.

Jon was known to thousands of gamers the world over as Brimstone through his role as a moderator on the websites Portent and now Warseer. This fund has been set up to register the repect and affection felt for him by gamers all over the world.   This fund has been set up to raise money for the British Heart Foundation to help them in their fight against heart disease. I hope you can join me in fundraising for the nations heart charity nobody is doing more than the BHF to keep the nations hearts beating.

Please make an online donation if you can.

Thank you.

So far the fund has raised £624.00 online.

With the automatic tax bonus (Gift Aid) a further £126.92 will be added to the online total.

The total amount raised is £750.92.

In memory of a man who contributed so much to the hobby I love, always with great humour and humility. Gone too soon, but remembered by many for ever.

Hi, I may not have known Jon or frequented the forum he run. But as fellow gamer who also suffered a heart attack in December and was lucky enough to survive I hope this small donation to BHF can be put to a good cause. My thoughts are with his family at this time. regards Andy

Truly, no man is an island unto himself. I did not know Jon, but I am made lesser by the loss of him.

I didn't know him personally, but from the little contact I had with him he seemed a really decent bloke, who did a heck of a lot for the gaming community as a whole.
